In this task, you will analyze the influence of the environment on human health and disease.

Step 1: Reflect on the content reviewed in this lesson and create a 150-300 response piece of writing that includes all the following points:

• Identify a disease in your community that is linked to environmental health.

• To what environmental factors do you attribute this disease?

• Identify one physical determinant, one biological determinant, one chemical determinant, and one psycho-social determinant) environmental health in your community.

This activity will help you explain how globalization influences the interaction of the environment with human health.

Step 1: Create a 250-350 piece of writing that includes all the following points:

• Describe how nations, peoples, and economies are becoming increasingly interconnected and interdependent.

• Describe the positive and negative impact and processes of globalization on health.

• The risk impact of economic globalization on human health.

• All references should follow 7th Edition APA formatting. See the resource on the Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library for instructions: APA citation resource (references are excluded from word counts).
