Activity 14: Scenario Based Partnership Building (180 minutes) Forum
In this activity, your scenario of focus will be population human papillomavirus (HPV) screening. You will justify what strategies can be used to build coalitions and a brief overview of how the strategy will be applied and how leadership skills will be employed in the scenario.
Step 1: Review and Research
Review the learning resources on building coalitions and partnerships. Then, research the focus “Population HPV Screening.” Here is an article which may help you get started. If you are already working on a research project, you can use your research topic for this activity.
Step 2: Write
Prepare a 400-700 words piece of writing that:
Explain the importance of building partnerships and coalitions to address “Population HPV Screening” or your topic of choice.
State the key stakeholders you would like to reach and why they are important to address the selected topic.
Explain what strategies you would employ to build partnerships with your selected stakeholders and how you would execute such strategies.
State and elaborate on three leadership skills or principles that you would need to develop or improve to be successful in your task of building a partnership to address the selected topic.
Step 3: Share
