      Scenario

You are a psychologist-contributing writer of “Psychology Now,” a general-interest psychology magazine aimed at presenting information and advice related to self-improvement, relationships, alternative medicine, health and fitness, and other health and well-being issues. Your magazine section is especially dedicated to audiences seeking advice by acting as their correspondent. For this month, the majority of your readers are seeking advice on which therapy, between psychotherapy and biomedical therapy, is the best option to improve their mental health. Additionally, some of your readers are asking for your recommendation on other mental health treatment modalities.

Respond by writing a 300-700-word correspondence letter that aims to address the following points:

      • Differences between psychotherapy and biomedical therapy

        • When each therapy can be used
        • Pros and cons of each therapy
