    • In this activity, you will examine the influence of societal, organizational, and individual factors on public health communications through a critical review.

      Step 1. Review

      Review all the required readings for Module 5 Lesson 1. Keep in mind the societal, organizational, and individual factors in public health communications discussed in the required readings.

      Step 2 .  Research

      Research for one public health communication-related case study/ example and examine the influence of societal, organizational, and individual factors on the selected case study/example.

      Example:  POLIO PUBLIC HEALTH COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES IN NORTHERN NIGERIA

      Step 3. Write

      Write a  250- 600 critical review of the case study/example, highlighting the influences of societal, organizational, and individual factors in public health and with the following inclusions.

      • An introduction- the title and a brief explanation of the case study
      • A main body (critique)- discusses and evaluates the strengths, weaknesses, and important features of the case study
      • A conclusion- concludes the review with a restatement of the overall opinion of the case study
